Center Manager

Responsible for the overall operation and results of J D Fletcher & Associates retail tax offices. That includes daily supervision and coaching of office associates. If you have the enthusiasm it takes to develop and motivate people, leading a tax office could be the right opportunity for you.

 

Job Duties:

1. Recruit, interview, and hire client services representatives and marketing representatives.

2. Coach and elevate performance of client services representatives and marketing representatives through goal-setting, coaching, and providing timely feedback. 

3. Responsible for triggering corrective action processes, as necessary, for direct reports. Responsible for providing representatives development opportunities, building a culture of recognition and focusing on representatives retention, resulting in a high-performing, energized, and collaborative center team.

4. Champion client experience by ensuring every representative is focused on easing the client's tax-related stress by providing a welcoming and personalized service. Seek and utilize client feedback to drive decisions and prioritize client-focused change. Promote the J.D. Fletcher & Associates brand within community, to clients, and to associates.

Client Services Representative

The Client Services Representative is compromised of data entry and interacting with our clients, by phone or in person. The representative will provide support to the Center Manager to ensure a positive experience in our tax offices.


Job Duties:


1. Communicate via phone, mail, and email with internal and external clients requiring assistance or information. Interpret clients' needs and utilize software programs to identify possible resolutions for issues.

2. Follow established procedures to handle client inquiries and resolve concerns to ensure client satisfaction. Handle client communications within all call handling, quality measurement and AC metrics.

3. Use software programs and computer systems to accurately document and track client contacts.

4. Participate in outbound calling campaigns as needed.

5. Attend training sessions and participate in meetings related to the effective and efficient performance of job duties.

6. Identify issues with current process and notify management of potential concerns and potential solutions.

7. Other duties as assigned.

Marketing Representatives

District Manager

Responsible for leading a geographic district of J.D. Fletcher& Associates retail tax offices.   Recruits and hires regional managers, providing coaching, development, and performance management to direct reports.  Manages office leaders and holds them accountable for coaching, development, and performance management of office associates.  The District Manager provides the leadership and direction to instill a client focused culture throughout the district, resulting in increased client retention and client satisfaction. Responsible for accelerating business growth through implementation of business plan, marketing, and identification of growth opportunities.  Effectively manages labor to ensure maximum productivity and profitability.


Job Duties:


1. Recruit, interview, and hire seasonal tax office associates.  Support Office Leaders in hiring of office-level associates.

2. Coach and elevate performance of associates through goal-setting, coaching, and providing timely feedback.  Support Office Leaders in end-to-end performance management of office-level associates.  Responsible for triggering corrective action processes, as necessary, for direct reports.

3. Responsible for providing associate development opportunities, building a culture of recognition and focusing on associate retention, resulting in a high-performing, energized, and collaborative district team.

4. 6. Develop, implement and monitor strategy to increase client satisfaction and client retention within district.

7. Manage staffing, labor, and compliance.

 

Job Requirements:


1. Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Six to eight years of business experience to include strategic development, budgeting and people management.

3. Three to five years management experience

4. Effective management of field personnel to include a working knowledge of organizational planning techniques including the development of goals and objectives, staffing, and work standards.

5. Strong customer relationship skills with the desire and proven ability to work in a diverse work setting.

6. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills that apply to all levels of the organization.

7. Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects and work initiatives while meeting deadlines.

8. Proven analytical and problem solving skills.

9. Willingness to work irregular schedules.

Regional Manager

Responsible for leading assigned district management staff in striving to improve the Company's image and to provide client service in accordance with Company policies.  Develops strategies to increase client retention and satisfaction for offices in the geographic area. Directs the tax preparation business for assigned geographic area through the implementation of company policies, procedures, vision and mission with the goal of increasing the number of clients served and increasing company profits and profitability.


Job Duties:


1. Direct responsibility for offices in current geographic area to ensure goals and targets are met within the territory and will provide oversight management for district managers and staff members in assigned line of responsibility.

2. Visit district offices to ensure consistent application and interpretation of company policies and procedures.  Identify and implement solutions for a consistent business approach, but remains sensitive to the individual business needs of each office.

3. Coach and mentor district managers and evaluate their performance. 

4. Conduct ongoing training, performance feedback, and development of District Managers. Approve associate performance data and identifies potential employees for advancement and additional skill development.

5. Ensure issues pertaining to district managers are managed and resolved without escalation to higher-level management.  Incorporate original thinking and problem-solving to resolve identified issues.

6. Attend and represent J.D. Fletcher & Associates in various district events for associates in seasonal and non-seasonal positions. Motivate associates to understand and apply the Company's vision and mission.

7. Provide direction to district managers related to selecting prime office locations, identifying methods to continuously improve business performance, and operating the office in compliance with company policies.

8. Participate in strategic planning along with other field leaders to ensure the direction of the business is appropriate and positioned to achieve its goals and objectives.

9. Approve the number, location, and status (temporary, regular, or Premium) of each office within each district and approves leases for office space. 

10. Review summary operations data and recommend the best solutions to improve the performance of the assigned districts.  Recommend to management long-term solutions affecting the overall business direction. Review and approve the annual tax season and off-season budgets for assigned geographic area.

11. Determine the content and delivery of information for the district meetings and seminars in assigned area.

12. Other duties, as assigned.

Job Requirements:


1. These skills are acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree in a related field or through combined education and experience.

2. Four years as a District Manager or equivalent is required.  Five to six years experience is preferred.

3. Knowledge of a district or regional operations sufficient to select, train and direct the activities of the district and regional office staff and to make effective operating decisions.

4. Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop associates.

5. Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills, public relations skills, and detail-oriented.

6. Proven success to increase profitability and to develop, analyze and manage budgets.

7. Effective math and analytical skills.

8. Experience in a retail or similar work environment is required.

9. Demonstrated successful short-term and long-range planning skills.

10. Ability to make independent decisions; assume complete responsibility for his/her work and decisions.

11. A minimum of four years' supervising a workforce containing varied skill sets.
